Cara Peterhansel (she/her) is a poet from Connecticut. She is the author of Horror Movie Dream Diner (Bottlecap Press, 2023). She holds an MFA in Poetry from Sarah Lawrence College. Her work explores the intersections of chronic illness, disability, neurodivergence, and queer intimacy. She explores how the spaces we occupy, in the body and in the physical world, shape the people we become. She is a gentle soul with a love of reading, video games, yoga, small animals, and nature. She lives in Western Massachusetts with her girlfriend, cat, and rabbit.
